Explorer Job Revamp

The Explorers have been revamped!

  • There are more hair styles and colors and even more faces to choose from!
  • Magicians now have their 1st job advancements at level 10.
  • Magicians also do not have their MP increase in proportion to their Intelligence.
  • Dual Blades, Cannoneers, and Jetts all share the same Cash Shop Inventory.
  • Cannoneers passive Master of Swimming and Master of Organization are now included as Explorer Pirate passive skills.
  • Existing Explorer Pirates will only learn the Master of Organization.
  • Phantoms can now Skill Swipe Cannoneers and Dual Blades.

Open Job Advancement

Exchange your job for something different!

  • The Open Job Advancement is available for all Explorers that have received the 4th job advancement and is past level 101.
  • Use a Job Advancement Coin or use Mesos if you don’t have a Coin. As your level gets higher, so does the price, starting at 10 million Mesos.
  • Job Advancements can only be done once a day, resetting at midnight.
  • All skills have been reset along with their Mastery Books, in other words, you need to use Mastery Books on the skills to reach their maximum level again. So choose wisely!
  • To exchange your job, go to your 4th Job instructor at the Forest of the Priest. Speak to your instructor and a Job Change window will appear.
  • Double-click on the image to change your job.

Additional Updates

Profession Revamp

Professions have been updated to make crafting items better than ever.

  • Can’t decide between Herbalism and Mining? Now you don’t have to – players can now select both Herbalism and Mining as a profession.
  • Don’t have a shovel or pickaxe? No problem – shovels and pickaxes are no longer required for Herbalism/Mining.
  • Not near Ardentmill? A new button has been added to the Production Skill window that can send you to Ardentmill from most maps.
  • Players can now reach Mastery level 11 (Master Craftsman) and level 12 (Meister) in Smithing, Alchemy, and Accessory Crafting. Don’t get lazy, though – you can lose experience if you haven’t crafted items in a while, causing your Mastery levels to drop back down. Don’t worry – your Mastery level will never drop below level 10.
  • In addition to these changes, the following changes have been made:

Smithing

  • Equipment level 120 and below no longer require recipes to craft.
  • Master Craftsman can create the Master Craftsman Cube: Movement is possible only within the account, usable until 7 days after it is created, usable on items graded Rare to Unique. Max Result: Unique.
  • Meister can create the Meister Cube: Movement is possible only within the account, usable until 7 days after it is created, usable on items graded Rare to Legendary. Max Result: Legendary.
  • Meisters are also able to craft new level 145 ‘Meister’ weapons for most classes – Hayato and Kanna weapons coming in a future update.

Alchemy

  • Master Craftsman and above are able to extract Occult Cubes, Master Craftsman Cubes, recipes and non-cash Scrolls.
  • Master Craftsman can create the Cube Extractor: Untradeable, usable until 7 days after it is created. Extractor can be used by other players to extract Occult Cubes and Master Craftsman Cubes for a fee.
  • Master Craftsman can create the Scroll Extractor: Untradeable, usable until 7 days after it is created. Extractor can be used by other players to extract non-cash Scrolls and Recipes for a fee.
  • Master Craftsman can create 8-slot and 10-slot herb bags and mineral bags.
  • Meister can create 12-slot herb bags and mineral bags.
  • Meister can create 8-slot coin purse: Pink Coin Purse

Accessory Crafting

  • Most accessories level 120 and below no longer require recipes to craft.
  • Master Craftsmen and Meisters can now create new shoulders, rings, earrings, and face accessories.

Mastery Book Revamp

All the Mastery Books are combined into the following 2 books:

  • Mastery Book 30
  • The renewed Mastery Books have a 100% chance of increasing your skills’ mastery levels.
  • The renewed Mastery Books are available from Illiad in Leafre or Luna in Henesys.

  • The Episode Book can be found by clicking the “Adventure Journal” in the Menu or by setting the Episode Book to a Hot Key.
  • Each story event has its own book and the quests can be followed through the Quest Tab and the Achievements can be seen in the Act Tab.

Smart Mount

A new Smart Mount feature has been added.

  • The Smart Mount allows you to conveniently auto-pilot around a number of regions in Maple World for a small fee.
  • A special flight permit is required to use the auto-pilot outside of Victoria Island, Ereve, and Rien.
  • All flight permits are permanent and don’t take up any inventory space.

The following flight permits are available from Instructor Irvin.

  • An auto-pilot button has been added to the top of the world map window when viewing a region that is eligible for auto-pilot.
  • A blue button indicates that you already have a flight permit. A red button indicates that that you need to buy the permit for that region.
  • Clicking on the auto-pilot button will allow you to talk with Instructor Irvin. You can get additional information about Smart Mounts, buy Smart Mount flight permits, and rent a Smart Mount.
  • To use auto-pilot, the Smart Mount must first be equipped. The Smart Mount can be found in the mount inventory by clicking the blue mount button in the skill inventory.
  • After equipping the Smart Mount, open the world map and double click on the map you would like to travel to. If used on a map in a different region then you are currently in, auto-pilot will take you to the nearest station.
  • Auto-pilot cannot be used if a Hyper Teleport Rock is currently in your inventory.

UI Renewal

The Quest window, Mount Skill window and Equipment Inventory have received an update.

  • The Quest window now has a search feature in the Available, Completed and Recommended tabs.
  • You can view the total number of completed quests.
  • The Completed tab now displays all rewards from completed quests.
  • The Mount Skill and Mount Info windows are now combined into one window.
  • Mounts no longer require saddles and only come in Skill form.
  • Cash equips are given their own tab.

Happyville is back once again!

  • Speak with Rooney in the Event Hall in order to access Happyville.
  • The Event Hall can be accessed through the Dimensional Mirror.
  • Talk to Rupi in Happyville to return to the place you came from.

Once you enter Happyville you will be able to help Torr finds his antlers, knit socks with Mrs. Claus, and decorate Christmas trees for some awesome screenshots and so much more!

In Preparation for the Party

  • Requirement: None
  • Talk to Cliff in Happyville to begin this quest.
  • Collect Rascal Snowpieces from monsters and return them to Cliff.

Reward:

  • Cliff’s Special Potion (3) – Transforms a player into a completely different state for one hour when consumed. Once transformed, you can enter the fireplace of the house behind Cliff to visit Santa’s Shop!
  • Note: Once you get to Santa’s Shop, you can use Rascal Snowpieces to purchase some fun items, so be sure to save them up!

Torr’s Antlers

  • Requirement: Lv 13 or above.
  • Speak with Torr in Happyville to begin this quest.
  • Find Torr’s Antlers in the Cash Shop. It will take some detective work to locate the Antlers. The cost of the Antlers is 1 meso.

Festival of Lights

  • Requirement: Lv 23 or above.
  • Speak with Simon in Happyville to enter Shalom Temple and begin this quest.
  • Help Hannah and Simon prepare for the Festival of Lights by completing various quests for them.

  • Collect 25 Altar Pieces from Dark Axe Stumps and Axe Stumps and bring them to Hannah.

  • Log in and Click on the Event Notifier
  • Each day hold onto a A Not Fully Cooked Gingerbread Man for 30 minutes.

  • You can only hold onto one Gingerbread Man a day, so make sure to start the event before 11:30 AM!

Red Leaf High is back – Sengoku style! Oda Nobunaga has taken over Red Leaf High. Can you survive his harsh lessons and prove yourself worthy?

  • Players level 13+ may enter the school by speaking with Boss Kumi, located in most major towns.
  • Each day of the event, players may receive 1 free ‘Sengoku Class One Day Pass’ by speaking to Boss Kumi, accepting the quest ‘Red Leaf High: The Sengoku’ing’, and defeating 300 monsters in their level range.
  • Additionally, players may also purchase ‘Sengoku Class Supplementary Pass’ from the Cash Shop.
